Random Advice of the Day: Mexican Spices in the Grocery Store

Want some advice you probably already know, but I just found out?

Get your spices in the Mexican food section of the grocery store. We use a lot of garlic powder here at Dix Central and we accidentally found that it was way cheaper than in the overpriced spice aisle.

This isn't any kind of writing tip, it's a grocery store tip, but it's still a good one.
We bought some Ginger today that I hope to put to good use in some Teriyaki shrimp stir-fry and it was less than a buck fifty.

You don't know me yet. I'm a new novelist and a general writer of things.

This is my blog to promote my work and I hope you enjoy it.
My novel will be finished soon, and will be available on the Kindle.

I'm a big fan of the Kindle (got one for Christmas) and am looking forward to having my first book available on it pretty soon. Just have to finish it and get a good edit on it.

Until then, keep coming back, I have a serial webcomic that I've started with J. Simmons, creator of Stupendo-Dog! and that will be a regular feature. It's real "Golden Age" hard-boiled comics stuff, so people should get a kick out of it.

Hell, I might even put up a recipe or two.
